We’re sure you’ll be completely comfortable in our beautiful house – from the underfloor heating in winter to the insect screens on the windows, from quality mattresses to roomy spotless showers, we hope we’ve thought of everything. We have equipped the kitchen as we’d want to find it ourselves – no struggling with blunt knives and two ringed cookers in Casa sul Tramonto! The house is spacious and airy throughout, and most rooms have beautiful beamed ceilings. There are shutters on every window, useful for keeping the rooms cool, if you can bear to miss the views! Living and Dining Room This large and airy room is elegantly furnished. There is a TV, DVD and CD player, with some games and books in unlikely event you run out of things to do! The dining table comfortably seats eight and an archway leads through to the kitchen. Kitchen The kitchen is fitted with two childproof ovens and a five burner hob, cooker hood, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Everything you need is provided and in working order. Knives are sharp and pots are large. There is a corkscrew! We will make sure there are enough glasses and tableware. You can hand food out of the front doors to the outside dining terrace, or through the archway into the dining/living room. A wooden staircase leads up to the first floor and a stair gate is available for the top; just let us know if you need it when you book. The washing machine is situated in the utility area adjacent to the kitchen. Bedroom 1 is situated on the ground floor this large bedroom has been designed to allow wheelchair access. The en suite bathroom is equally able to accommodate a wheelchair if required, the shower being a walk-in design with enough space to allow a carer to help. Bedroom 2 is also on the ground floor with its own en suite bathroom and built in wardrobe. From this lovely room you can step out through the cantina onto a terrace and have a few quiet moments away from the crowd – a sunny breakfast or a shady evening drink. Bedroom 3 has an en suite bathroom and is situated on the first floor. It has a door leading onto a sunny private terrace with views over fields and woodland. Out here you can enjoy the sunrise in the morning and some welcome shade in the afternoon, without overlooking your housemates in the pool or at the outside dining area. Bedroom 4 is also on the first floor this en suite room has French doors leading onto another large sunny terrace, big enough for all guests to sit and watch the sun go down. An external staircase leads from the terrace to the garden, so your bedroom can remain a place of sanctuary. |
